Bruce Gil
Bruce Gil was born in Verona (Italy) in the 1985, struck on the 60's psychedelic culture of Pink Floyd, Alan Parson Project, The Doors since he when he was young. His first adventure with the keyboard started when he was 8 and proceeding till 11 years old. At 13 yrs old he took up the Rap culture, founding the crew "Confusion Pubblica" and beginning to have the first music experience as a "Mc". After several local gigs, he casually discovered the psychedelic trance music listening a dj Nervox cd called “The sound of colours” and he became at once a Parasense fan. In 2005, he often went to the Austrian Psy-Trance parties, where he met dj Natan (Parvati Records), which showed interest in his productions. An empathy bud from their meeting and Bruce invited dj Natan to become his promoter. After Bruce had has collected a good movement of public and also critics, the Canadian “Dark Record” proposed him a recording contract. “Kundalini Project” was born here, a careful project to the mystic and dark sounds with the aim to stir up the dancefloor, creating a deep musical atmosphere who puts the dance in the middle of universe. Supported by artists such as Cosmo, Dejan, Kemik-al, Ocelot, Horror Place (Zik), Gioppo (Goamantra Rec) or Giuseppe (Parvati Rec) not only in Italy, but also in Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Czech Republic. One of his project has been played by Goa Gil as well. His first album “Ancient Rituals” has been released by Dark Records (Canada) in 2008. He started a new project in 2006, mixing electronic music, break-beats, drum’n’bass and ambient with the new artist name “Kontrast Boy”. He signed a new contract with Fitz Recordings (Canada) who released his first ep called “Essence of Dream”. This new project ambitions are to get into the emotion meanders, trying to dig into the deeper human unconscious and researching the causes who push humans to dreaming, everything enrich by images projection. Bruce Gil is programming several projects with other estimated artists like Gianfranco Grisi (composer and orchestra director). They founded an electro-ethnic music group called “Fusis Orchestra” and they have produced the “Electronic City” sound-track, in collaboration with the “Museum of Rovereto” for the “Mission Apollo 16” anniversary. Historic astronaut Charlie Duke was present at the museum meeting. After his first album “Ancient Ritual”, Kundalini Project evolves into the ethnic music, in fact the future of this project is and will be turn to the new age, midwest, electro-ethnic and sound-track producing above all, always digging into the deeper and mystic human sensations. Kundalini Project is producing tracks with the best existing softwares: Cubase 5, East West Samples, Native Instruments Samples, Spectrasonic, Waves and also IK Multimedia.
